PORT ARTHUR — The adventures of Pookie & Ray Ray continue. Gary Davis, 38, was thrown in the slammer after he Ctrl-Alt-Deleted 36-year-old Marlon “DJ Marty Mar” Sanders over a woman. The sanguinary ordeal transpired around midnight on May 26, 2026 outside Gary’s mother’s crib in Port Arthur, Texas. According to reports, Marlon’s wife, Khalen Ward-Sanders, f*cked Gary while they were separated and they produced a son. Then Khalen dumped Gary to reconcile with Marlon with whom she shares four children. Whew! Get all of that? Gary was pissed, mainly because he didn’t want another dude raising his 9-month-old son. On the night 🌙 of the crime, Marlon and Khalen drove to Gary’s residence to pick up the infant during a custody exchange. Gary sent Khalen a bunch of threatening text messages, warning her to not bring Marlon. But she brought him anyway.

As soon as they arrived, Marlon waited by the car and Gary’s mother handed Khalen the baby. That’s when Gary yelled something to the effect of, “Bitch, who you out there with?” Next thing you know, Gary shoved his mother out the way and ran out the front door with a gun. He chased Marlon around the vehicle and opened fire — striking him twice. The big fella was sprawled out in the street.

“I was just upstairs watching TV and all I hear was a woman screaming, saying, “Gary, give me my baby! Gary, give me my baby!” neighbor Amber Howard told reporters.

And that’s when I heard two gunshots.”

Khalen performed CPR but it was to no avail.

Marlon was transported 🚑 to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Gary was arrested and charged with murder.

Social media reaction was vicious.

One commenter wrote, “Both men gone now anotha nigga clappin them cheeks, smh.”

Another chimed in with, “Never go back. It won’t be the same.”

A third person added, “Let me get this straight. She separated from her husband, had a baby with another dude, then came back so he can raise that man’s child? Fellas, y’all gotta stop simping.”

Marlon may have been a simp, but he’ll definitely be missed.

He was a music teacher at Adams Elementary School.

He coached football 🏈 and basketball.

As a 300-pounder, he was a helluva dancer.

And, he was an ordained Deacon at the Greater True Vine Church.

The Port Arthur Independent School District issued the following statement: “PAISD extends our deepest and most sincere condolences to the Sanders family and all who knew, loved, worked with, were taught or coached by, and enjoyed the talents of Marlon Sanders. Our beloved Adams Elementary School music teacher, Titans football and basketball coach, and singer/DJ/musician will be missed by so many.”

Marlon was basically a saint.

Gary, on the other hand, is a no-good bum who lived with his mama.
