Blog King, Mass Appeal

SACRAMENTO — Damn, western popsies are droppin’ like flies. Viral Crimes released the murder documentary of 23-year-old Chanell Brown who was shot execution-style by her boyfriend, 25-year-old Earnest Easterling, because she broke up with him. The femicide transpired outside their apartment around midnight on October 27, 2019 in Sacramento, California. According to police reports, Earnest crashed his car into a tree after having contretemps with Chanell. Then he brandished a gun and started beating her, blaming her for the accident. The entire ordeal was captured on video. Neighbors called 911 then rushed to Chanell’s aid. “You got the police called on me, I didn’t do sh*t,” Earnest yelled. Chanell implored spectators to return home. “Lock your door,” she told ’em. “Lock it!” Seconds later, Sheriff deputies arrived and Chanell put her hands up in an attempt to protect her boyfriend. Rather than express gratitude, Earnest shot Chanell multiple times at point-blank range.

Deputies returned a barrage of bullets, killing Earnest.

Chanell’s family knew she was a victim of domestic violence. But they couldn’t do sh*t about it. “She had distanced herself from family,” sister Kevonna Brown told reporters. “She moved away.” Social media reaction was fierce. One commenter wrote, “The way I look at it, it’s always the woman’s fault for domestic violence, cause y’all start it by getting with crazy-ass men to begin with. Y’all like drama and live in a fantasy world. And the majority of the time, y’all end up dead. It is what it is. On to the next one.”

Another viewer added, “She was too pretty for him.”

Chanell was an entrepreneur with her own cosmetics line.

Earnest once served in the military but he’s been a bum ever since.

His own family gave up on him.

Chanell stayed with the simp, believing she could change him.

  1. Stop protecting these ABUSERS!!!! PLEASE, it’s so devastating and tragic losing someone to domestic violence, but stop protecting & helping the abuser.

  2. I am so broken after watching this. Prayers for her family may she rest in peace!

  3. REPENT and turn to Jesus Christ before its too late, take God and your eternity serious before its too late.

  4. Why are there so many controlling violent men? Women, please do your research on every man that come into your lives. I know some women don’t care about a man’s history, but you should. You take a chance of losing your life and the lives of people you love. Be careful out there.

  5. What happened in the car that caused the accident is what I would be asking. If she knew he wasn’t mentally stable and had anger issues what could she have done to trigger him inside the car. Ptsd is real. If you don’t know what you’re dealing with it’s better to walk away. In the video he blames her for the car wreck saying she was doing “that weird shit”. Not sure what that’s means something she did in the car provoked him to wreck that car. Not saying him killing her was called for but someone who’s lived with ptsd for 13 years in a split second out rage can go over board. This is why I constantly work on myself and stay out the way. She probably should’ve done the same and let the young man get help at the VA like I have.

  6. To ALL prayer WARRIORS, and others who know that 🙏🏾 prayers are the ONLY solution to this broken world 🙏🏾🌍: PRAY, pray, and Keep praying for our young women and men…they are dying at the hands of the devil and the devil AIN’T about to stop because he running out of time. These youth NEED God all over them, or they are at great risk.

  7. SISTAS, I DON’T WHY SOME OF YOU GET INVOLVED WITH THESE ABUSIVE MONSTERS, YOU LAY UP WITH THEM AND SOME OF YOU EVEN GAVE BIRTH FOR SOME AND YOU MEAN SHE DIDN’T KNOW THE FIRST TWO RED FLAGS?😑 LADIES YA’LL GOT TO UNDERSTAND THAT YOU CANNOT CHANGE THAT MAN, THAT WAS JUST A CRAZY ASS NIGGA, FIRST PRIORITY IS TO SAVE YOUR OWN ASS!☺️
ONCE THAT MAN HIT YOU FOR THE FIRST TIME, IT’S TIME TO GO, I MEAN GO, BECAUSE IF HE DID IT ONCE, HE’LL DO IT AGAIN!😯
My condolences goes out to all of her family members and loved ones!

  8. “She didn’t want to give up on him like everyone else has”. Please understand family and friends don’t come around him for a reason. Rest in peace beautiful!!!

  9. Ladies please stop thinking you can change these males you can not and stop thinking they are not monsters because they are just be careful with whom you choose to love…

  10. A good Ole black military man huh?? So what do the black men have to say about this happening because she chose her first boyfriend wrong??? It’s clear that ALL kinds of black men have a narcissistic demon issue it’s not just pookie’s and ray rays!!!

  11. She cared more about the neighbors safety than her own, telling them to go inside n lock the doors. The pos, should have put the bullet in his own head not hers. All it takes is one loser to destroy ur life, please if there’s red flags 🚩 RUN.
So sad, may she Rest In Peace 🕊️

  12. Fornication clouds your MIND and its costly. Please tell our women the body was not made to FORNICATE. It is to WORSHIP THE MOST HIGH, GOD OF ISRAEL.

  13. Y’all like them bad boys and hood nigs so I don’t feel sorry for anyone in this video. It comes with the territory.

  14. True enough mental illness is real I get that. BUT, she was naive as well because she knew he had a rap sheet and decided to get with him in spite the red flags waving in her face. In short, NEVER, EVER overlook warning signs that something is off about the person you meet because you cannot turn crap into ice cream. PERIOD.

  15. EWW, she was still trying to protect him when she told her killer to go in the house.

  16. They all date men and that’s the problem. Jail, military, etc thugs. I’m gay and it takes one to know one.

  17. I made the mistake and married someone prematurely who gradually became violent/unstable and got worse when I became pregnant. The final straw was him going after our child who was 10 months old at the time. Unfortunately I had to attack him to protect our child. Luckily he didn’t pass away as a result but lesson learned. I got out of there, filed for divorce, a restraining order, etc .. He’s since disappeared and I’ve since relocated and he can’t find us nor does he bother us but he did harass me a year after I left. I now carry in case I have to let off on him!

  18. Women bring stuff like this on themselves. They provoke and try to play victim at the same time. That’s a dangerous game.

  19. Sounds like they got into an argument in the car and he pulled the gun on her causing her to crash into the tree. He was going to kill her regardless.

  20. Stop choosing bad boys. Stop choosing bums. You live by thugs you die by thugs

  21. @Jimmy Bejamin: He served in the military… and I do believe military vets are just as bad as thugs…

  22. Black women are too focused on protecting the males who cause them the most harm by brainwashing & weaponizing Dah Whyite Man/police against them. Black women, Black males are NOT your protectors so stop living in lala land thinking these cowards want the best for you. What they want is to control you and it seems to be succeeding. Too many Black women are are & have suffered because we are continuing to coddle & protect these cowards. Break away from this unstable community & leave behind any Black women who refuse to see this toxic culture.

  23. TheRibofJESUS: It’s Ya Girl, Jesus’ Wife Yes they are. I haven’t met a sane one yet

  24. This is disgusting! Military men today are cray cray and when these men get crazy you have to talk first and run 🏃‍♂️, and especially when they start putting their hands on you it usually do not stop. Other, people gave up on him I would have too because that is a sign with him! Look he killed her because his car was damage cray cray. So, sad for her and “he is gone” but sadly she too

  25. Ladies our key is to leave them once we see the red flags. Red flags almost always turn into some kind of abuse and/or murder if we don’t leave when it’s “not so bad.” I say this at my big age and don’t know if I would’ve left tbh when I was in my twenties. Ladies take heed and learn to treat yourself kind until that becomes your norm for how others need to treat you.

  26. The police didn’t do their job..they had a heads up before they got there so why are they being so aggressive telling her to put her hands up when they should have been more focused on trying to get to her bf who had a weapon. So sad.

  27. Black men really can’t handle a BLACK woman trying to grow,or have success smh It’s sickening.

  28. Ladies, it’s not your job to help these men, even though women have been raised to believe it is. You aren’t their mother, and you aren’t licensed therapists. Stop trying to save everyone and focus on yourself. It could save your life.

  29. These men ain’t shit ..you couldn’t pay me to date nowadays smh it’s always something wrong with these men ….They all start off nice then the demons in them ALWAYS SHOW UP!!!
