MIAMI — When patronizing a discount store goes tragically wrong. A middle-aged black woman was handcuffed by police after she Ctrl-Alt-Deleted an unarmed white man over a parking spot. The fatality transpired around 12:30 p.m. on June 30, 2026 at a Walmart in North Lauderdale, Florida. It was also captured on video. Cell phone footage shows the lady pointing her pistol at 62-year-old Bart Diguglielmo as he followed her around the parking lot. “Walk away,” she warned while retro walking. But Bart kept on approaching. He probably thought she was too craven to shoot. As Bart got closer, the trigger-happy granny said “f*ck it” and opened fire — striking the old man in the stomach. Bart laid in a pool of his own blood for several minutes as customers walked right past his ass. They didn’t give a f*ck.
Bart was transported 🚑 to Broward Health Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The woman cooperated with police and was placed under arrest. During interrogation, she claimed self-defense in accordance with Florida’s ‘Stand Your Ground’ law even though she got out of her car with a gun in hand, ready to blast. Witnesses said the shooting stemmed from a heated argument over a parking spot. Bart was sort of an American hero. He served in the United States Army.
He was also a retired ER trauma nurse.
His family is understandably pissed.
“I heard one news site say it was over a parking spot,” Amanda Diguglielmo, Bart’s daughter, told reporters.
“Another says it was because my dad was making some type of advance towards the woman, which I will completely debunk because my dad is not that person. He’s not perfect, but not someone that would do this to this extreme.”
“[Nobody] deserves to lose their life over a parking spot,” she added.
Social media reaction was insane.
One commenter wrote, “Self-defense my ass! She’s black. He’s white. Lock her up with Karmelo.”
Another chimed in with, “White people, please leave us alone. That’s all we ask.”
A third person added, “Typical Watermelon Felon🍉. I hope they hang this piece of sh*t💩. Dude did nothing wrong. This is why we need to get rid of these horrible, disgusting, filthy people. Retarded-ass people have a power trip when they have a firearm. People like this should’ve been flushed a long time ago, and this man would still be alive.”
As an army veteran, Bart battled soldiers and tanks only to get smoked by an old lady over a parking spot.

He was also a retired military and a combat nurse I don’t think he was showing malicious intent he raised both hands to show he was unarmed and she shot him that’s not self defense, he would have been trained to deescalate disarm a potential threat this is what he was trying to do, it’s also what I think her phone recorded which is why we haven’t seen it yet? She should’ve driven off in the beginning,-She got out the car brandishing the firearm! That shows intent to use it. What was he screaming as she was pointing it at him, and what was she saying? Why did he keep advancing while she kept walking backwards to get away from him? He was visibly larger than her yes, but she could’ve gotten in her car, locked the doors and left. Why taught him while he was bleeding on the ground. So sad.

She escalated the whole situation for no reason. He’s an idiot for testing her but she should have never had a firearm out to begin with.
Even after she retreated, which in Florida, she was not obligated to do, he kept moving towards her. His motivation is 100% irelevant. If an individual is perceived by another person as posing a threat of bodily harm, that person can defend themselves under the Stand Your Ground law.
To be fair, there are a lot of race grifters and politicians out there spewing “White people are hunting black people” propaganda, and maybe she bought into it. That said, it doesn’t matter. If she felt threatened, her shooting him was justified.
This guy had the option of just getting back in his vehicle, and going about his day. Deciding to kep pursuing her and running his mouth eraned him a trip to the coroner.

Everyone’s debating whether he should approach her or not it’s not the issue. The issue is whether she was justified and killing him and she wasn’t. She was safe in her car and she got out of the car and instigated the whole thing.
@Rachmanfan4life: You have no context as to why she felt compelled to leave the car. Sometimes people exit a vehicle to ensure they can be heard properly and that the fire arm is within view, hoping it serves as deterrent.
This is a little bit too hard because she is backing up and he is walking up on her so that could be grounds for self-defense that she feared for her life because she’s backing up while he’s walking towards her.

I been in this situation. I had a bad day and a guy hit my car and I got out my car angry with F-bombs and spit flying everywhere and I’m steadily marching towards this guy that hit my car. Now if this man would have shot me he would’ve been in the right hands down.

Let’s be clear and fair here. She didn’t shoot him over a Walmart parking spot.

In the end, he closed to the distance that he could have disarmed her and potentially used her firearm against her.
Had she been a police officer and a hostile moron acted in the same way the results would have been identical.
The parking spot may have been the ignition point, but the fire occurred much later.
Arguing with strangers is always a bad idea. At first, he was right in the beginning on the parking spot. However that evaporated when he kept approaching her when she was displaying a firearm. The pivot came because she could reasonably fear he was going to charge her, overpower her, take her firearm, and use it against her. She still bears some blame for first introducing the firearm instead of using pepper spray given he displayed no deadly weapon or intent in the beginning. The taunting dug her a deep hole.
Here’s the problem I have with this: If she doesn’t have the gun, she doesn’t go over to the guy’s car and confront him. Instead, she would’ve gotten out of the car, walk into Walmart, do her shoppping, go home, and enjoy the rest of her life. But she was pissed and was going to get her 2 cents in…with a gun in her hand.
I have no problem with her exiting her vehicle with the firearm in her hand if she feared for her life. However, if she truly feared for her life, she would’ve gone into Walmart and called law enforcement. Instead, she got out of her car with gun in hand and confronted the guy. If I were the prosecutor that’s exactly what I’d argue. She can’t claim she’s afraid of the bear if she then goes and pokes the bear a bit with a gun in her hand. To me, that’s escalation and makes her the instigator.
