LIVONIA — When “Protect & Serve” goes wrong. Residents of Livonia, Michigan are in mourning after 26-year-old police officer Matthew Ethington murdered his baby mama, 22-year-old police officer Maria Martin, because she broke up with him. Then he blew his own brains out in front of their snotty-nosed toddler. The murder-suicide transpired on February 19, 2023. According to police reports, Maria dumped Matthew then moved on from him with her two children. Instead of respecting her wishes, Matthew became embittered then begged for another chance. When Maria declined, the simp pulled out his Glock 22 service pistol and opened fire — striking her multiple times. Then he turned the gun on himself. Maria’s mom contacted authorities and gave ’em a garage door opener, which gave police access to her daughter’s townhouse. Once inside, officers descried the cadavers. They also found the couple’s 1-year-old son wandering throughout the home with a dirty diaper on.
Social media reaction was cold-blooded. One commenter wrote, “I’ve noticed black women always ‘don’t want you’ RIGHT AFTER THE BABY IS BORN 🤔. ‘We’ve been together for years, now all of a sudden you want to KIDNAP MY BABY and STEAL MY MONEY through child suport?’ PS: Black women, stop kidnapping our children and robbing us for monthly paychecks. It’s not going to work out for you anymore 😇 R.I.P.”
Another person added, “Another episode of ‘If I can’t have you, no one can.’ Fellas, stop simpin.’ There’s plenty of fish in the sea.”
Scuttlebutt has it, Matthew was married when he and Maria first hooked up.
He also controlled what she wore in public and who she hung out with.

The best way to protect yourself, stay single. Getting emotionally tied to another is dangerous and detrimental to a healthy joyous life. The simp was probably paying child support from his first marriage. He was the baby daddy for at least one of Maria’s kids. Maria was now going to get child support from him. She likely was getting child support from someone for her other kid as well.
The simp was 26 and would be strapped for cash for the foreseeable future. She was 22 and probably getting child support from multiple sources,, plus her police salary. There are always plenty of simps in Blackistan who will be paymasters to any female who is not a 600 lb whale. So she could always cash in on other thirsty black male simps as well.
