JACKSON — The adventures of Pookie & Ray Ray continue. Daniel Harmon, 34, was thrown in the slammer after he murdered his baby mama, 30-year-old Jamilla Smith, because she broke up with him. The femicide transpired around 8:30 p.m. on December 2, 2023 in Jackson, South Carolina. According to police reports, Jamilla — a victim of domestic violence — told Daniel she was sick and tired of being his punching bag and she wanted out of the relationship. Feeling jilted, Daniel showed up announced at Jamilla’s home and forced himself in. A physical altercation ensued. The prepossessing mom of two ran down the street, screaming and hollering, before Daniel pulled up from behind and hit her with his car. The simp was, however, kind enough to offer Jamilla a ride to the hospital. But she chose to call 911 instead. The operator heard ’em arguing.
“No, don’t touch me. You hit me. You ran me over,” Jamilla said.
“No I didn’t. You jumped in front of my car,” Daniel replied.
“No I didn’t. Leave me alone. It hurts. I can’t feel my arm. You ran over me,” Jamilla countered.
The dispatcher also heard the engine revving and a dog barking. Minutes later, Daniel took Jamilla’s life and disposed her body. But, the car he drove — a 2023 Dodge Charger — was a rental with a tracker on it. So police had no trouble finding him. Daniel was arrested and charged with murder. Jamilla’s corpse is still missing. Investigators searched the vehicle and found blood in the trunk.
What’s sad is Daniel has a rap sheet comparable to Charles Manson’s coupled with a 100-page incident report. We’re talkin’ domestic violence, cocaine trafficking, firearm possession and more. But Jamilla overlooked his past because she was desperate to have a man. Plus, she thought she could change him. Jamilla’s rehabilitation plan failed miserably. Her family members said she walked around with black eyes on the regular and every time she tried to leave Daniel, he threatened to kill her and himself.
Jamilla was a successful hairstylist.
Daniel is a murderous bum with 30 run-ins with the law.
They appeared to be the perfect couple on social media.
But it was all a big lie.
Ladies, choose better.

Daniel had long sheet of crimes and she still went on having a kid and continue dating him? Not worth on her life at all, she wrote her destiny and This is it ! The only victim here is her kids!!! If she loved those kids that much she should have not put them through hell with all the violence was going. Speaking as a domestic violence escapee/survivor!
