COLORADO SPRINGS — In this week’s episode of “If I can’t have you, no one can.” United States Army Sergeant Dermot Blake, 34, was thrown in the slammer after he murdered his wife, 30-year-old Tashianna Blake, because she sought a divorce. The uxoricide transpired around 1 a.m. on February 20, 2021 at their residence in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Their two daughters, ages 5 and 7, witnessed the crime. According to police reports, Tashianna — a victim of domestic violence — told Dermot she was sick and tired of being his punching bag and she wanted out of the marriage. A bout of contretemps ensued. As the quarrel intensified, Dermot pulled out a gun and opened fire — striking Tashianna 6 times. Then he ordered the kids to come into their bedroom. When they arrived, Dermot told Tashianna to apologize. As soon as she said, “I’m sorry,” he shot her in the head.
Dermot called 911 and confessed to killing his wife. He was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and child abuse. During trial, Dermot’s attorney tried to convince the court that Tashianna was having an affair in an effort to have the charge reduced to second-degree murder or manslaughter. But the jury didn’t buy it. The active-duty simp was sentenced to life in prison.
Social media reaction was melancholic.
One commenter wrote, “You would think when the kids came out of their room he’d snap out of it. These lil girls will be traumatized. Prayers for the family.🙏🏾”
Another person added, “He said, ‘say sorry,’ in front of the kids? Did he find out she cheated or had an affair? Six shots is overkill. He hated her.”
Tashianna was a successful real estate agent and her family said Dermot was jealous of her.
She filed for divorce two years prior to the murder.
But the judge dismissed the case because they decided to work on the marriage.
Dermot and Tashianna appeared to be the perfect couple on social media.
But it was all a big, fat lie.

Were the kids his, or did she have kids when they married ? If she was a single mother prior to the marriage, it doesn’t excuse what he did. But this is relevant to understanding the context. Apparently, she was having an affair. This doesn’t excuse what he did either. But,, it goes to show that she probably had her own dysfunction going on as well.

Some of these females have degrees from degree mills that are not worth toilet paper. Let’s be honest. Generally, these type things don’t happen to wholesome people.
