PALM BEACH — “🎵Get up, get, get, get down. 911 is a joke in yo’ town.🎵” Little Mack Williams, 45, was thrown in the slammer after he deleted his baby mama, 34-year-old Shantay Butts, because she found herself a new man. The femicide transpired around 11:45 a.m. on July 11, 2025 (6 days after Shantay filed a restraining order) in Palm Beach, Florida. Shantay’s four children witnessed the crime. According to reports, one of the kids saw Mack break into the home and called police. During the 911 call, the dispatcher heard Mack in the background yelling, “Where’s your momma?” Then he went to the master bedroom where Shantay and her boyfriend were reportedly f*cking and opened fire — killing her instantly. The boyfriend was also struck. But, he was transported to Lakeside Medical Center where he received treatment for his injuries.
Mack was later arrested and charged with first-degree murder and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
He’ll spend the rest of his miserable existence in the penitentiary.
What’s sad is Mack has a lengthy history of tormenting women. Yet, Shantay ignored every red flag 🚩 and dated him anyway. Mack was incarcerated in 2014 for beating his girlfriend’s ass. He was locked up in 2018 for stalking his ex. He served time in 2023 for knocking his girlfriend upside the head. And Shantay had him jailed multiple times in 2024 for felony domestic battery.
Social media reaction was venomous.
One commenter wrote, “He was a psychopath. The law definitely failed this woman.”
Another chimed in with, “Y’all women make fun of good guys for being boring and lame only to go get with bums who will eventually unalive y’all.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣”
A third person added, “No sympathy here. Black women give these Pookies babies, mock them, then play victim.”
Shantay recorded Mack threatening to kill her and turned it over to police.
But the cops did nothing.

This is just who she was….she told what went on in her life like all the other people on social media do and I thought she was funny. She seemed to be one of those people that dealt with her life hardships with humor. Whether ppl think she made fun of him or not she did not deserve to be stalked or killed! The court systems failed this woman. How can judges give out such weak sentences, especially for repeat offenders?

The system doesn’t want to help these women. What’s terrifying is when you call them for help cuz he’s about to snap and they show up and tell you, “until he actually does, we can’t help you. He didn’t break the law yet- call us when he does.” And then they leave.
