ATLANTA — The adventures of Pookie & Ray Ray continue. John David, 23, was thrown in the slammer after he deleted his girlfriend, 26-year-old Chessington “Chess” Marshall, because she dumped his ass. The femicide transpired on February 2, 2018 at their residence in Atlanta, Georgia. According to reports, Chess told John she was sick and tired of his bullsh*t so she’s ending the relationship. A bout of contretemps ensued. “You ain’t going nowhere, bitch!” John reportedly yelled. Later that night, while Chess was in the restroom taking a bath, John barged in with a gun and opened fire — striking her multiple times. Then he called 911 and confessed to committing murder. “I killed her,” John told the dispatcher. When officers arrived, they found Chess’ cadaver floating in the tub. John held his hands up and surrendered without incident. But, as he was being evaluated by medical personnel, the son of a bitch escaped while still in handcuffs — sparking a massive manhunt.

Officers with K-9s converged at the scene. John was rearrested shortly after midnight. He’s serving a life sentence at Calhoun State Prison. Social media reaction was off the chain. One commenter wrote, “Damn, he emptied the clip. Must’ve really hated her.” Another chimed in with, “Many young men have lost their sanity in Atlanta.” A third person added, “Bring back public hangings!”

Chess, who graduated from Florida A&M University, was a gifted graphic designer with a bright future.

She was also the breadwinner🍞, responsible for paying rent and utilities.

Conversely, John is a freeloading bum with no goals or ambition.
