WEST POINT — The adventures of Pookie & Ray Ray continue. Daricka Moore, 24, was thrown in the slammer after he smoked his father, uncle, brother, cousin, the family pastor and the pastor’s brother for no damn reason. The massacre transpired on January 9, 2026 in a rural area of West Point, Mississippi — making it the state’s largest mass shooting since Willie Godbolt smoked 8 mothaf*ckas in 2017. Daricka — a crackhead with a George Jefferson coiffure — had contretemps with family members inside their mobile home on a dirt road. “Why did y’all give me a woman’s name?” Daricka reportedly yelled. As the argument intensified, the junkie pulled out a rifle and opened fire — killing his brother Quinten Moore, 33, his father Glenn Moore, 67, and his uncle Willie Guines, 55. All three were shot in the head, execution style. Then, Daricka took Quinten’s Ford F150 and drove to a relative’s house where he tried to rape his 7-year-old cousin, Mikiylia Guines, before blowing her brains out.
Daricka tried to kill another child too, but misfired.
“I don’t know what kind of motive you could have to kill a 7-year-old,” Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott said at a news conference.
Then, as the proverbial cherry 🍒 on top, Daricka drove to the Apostolic Church of The Lord Jesus and smoked Reverend Barry Bradley and his brother Samuel Bradley. They were also shot in the head. Police officers set up a roadblock in Cedarbluff as dozens of law enforcement officials encircled the area. Daricka was busted at the intersection of Pine Grove and Joe Mars Road.
He’s charged with capital murder, first-degree murder, attempted murder, attempted sexual battery, burglary and grand theft auto.
The death penalty is imminent pending a mental evaluation.
“Six people, one night, several different scenes, it’s about as bad as it gets,” said Clay County District Attorney Scott Colom.
As Daricka was being hauled to jail, he told a reporter he “killed 13 people.”
Then, he chortled when asked to elucidate the motive.

My theory of what really happened?
I believe this man molested the seven-year-old girl he shot
I believe the mother of that child found out and told the family
I believe the family didn’t know what to do
So the family contacted and spoke with their preacher to ask what they should do
This guy found out who all knew
That’s every person that he killed
If this is what happened then it explains why he had to kill the seven-year-old
She was the victim
This is just the only explanation that would make sense to me
If he does not give the police a different motive
That this is the motive and he didn’t want anybody finding out about it
