HUNTSVILLE — The adventures of Pookie & Ray Ray continue. Tye Deshun Stevens, 24, was thrown in the slammer after he murdered 20-year-old Sequoiya Lamar and 24-year-old D’Asia Morris over a pair of damn tires. You can’t make this sh*t up. The double homicide transpired around 10:40 a.m. on August 29, 2023 at their apartment complex in Huntsville, Alabama. Sequoiya and D’Asia were lesbian lovers. Tye was their neighbor. Police said they were having contretemps over tires when Tye pulled out a gun and opened fire — striking the carpet munchers thirteen times. Their cadavers were found sprawled out near the parking lot. Tye went on the run and led officers on a days long manhunt before they busted his black ass in Anniston — a city 100 miles south of Huntsville. The zesty beta was charged with two counts of capital murder. He could get the death penalty.
Sequoiya, a successful loctician, and D’Asia were very popular on social media. They shared fashion tips, dance moves, cooking recipes and intimate details of their love life with a vastly growing audience. They also canoodled on camera and flashed cash ๐ฐ to let everybody know they were a very happy LGBT ๐ couple. Social media reaction was cold-blooded. One commenter wrote, “Stay away, don’t talk to or associate with these YNs… they’re demonic. Besides… can’t trust no one anymore, not even your neighbors.”
Another chimed in with, “Being gay is a sin. There is no happy ending.”
A third person added, “Bet it was self-defense. Black women cause 90% of their own demise.”
Scuttlebutt has it Tye was attracted to Sequoiya and he butted heads with D’Asia — the stud in the relationship.
