ORANGE — The adventures of Pookie & Ray Ray continue. Residents in Orange, Texas are in mourning after 33-year-old Lester Lewis murdered his wife, 34-year-old Porsha Kiel Lewis, his daughter, 17-year-old Janiya Lewis, and his father-in-law, 53-year-old Bobby Kiel, before blowing his own brains out. The massacre-suicide transpired around 8 a.m. on January 1, 2024. According to multiple reports, Porsha — a mother of five — wanted a fresh start for New Year’s. So she asked Lester for a divorce. Rather than respect her wishes, the jilted simp pulled out a pistol and opened fire — striking Porsha multiple times. Lester then proceeded to shoot Janiya and Bobby before turning the gun on himself. Police officers were called. But it took ’em several hours to secure a search warrant to enter the home. Once inside, they found all four deceased from gunshot wounds.
A quartet of chalk outlines ensued.
“First thing we want to send is our condolences to the family on New Year’s,” Orange Police Captain Jonathan Baggett told reporters.
“It’s just a tough way to start off the New Year and anytime you have an investigation to this magnitude, it’s tough for the community, it’s tough for the family, it’s tough for officers.”
Social media reaction was crestfallen. One commenter wrote, “Black women… you continue to pick up these felons, they will continue to delete you. You have to be more responsible, especially if you have young children. The 17-year-old’s life was taken for something she had nothing to do with. RIP BEAUTIFUL ANGEL. Prayers for the other young children left without a mother.”
Another person added, “Hours to get a warrant to search the home? What the f*ck?”
Porsha was a certified nursing assistant.
Lester was a career criminal with a rap sheet comparable to Charles Manson’s.
