DAYTON — The adventures of Pookie & Ray Ray continue. Jamartay Latrell Brown, 24, was thrown in the slammer after he murdered his ex-girlfriend, 26-year-old Montanae Davis, because she dumped him. The femicide transpired around 2:50 a.m. on April 3, 2024 in Dayton, Ohio. According to police reports, Montanae — a single mom of two kids — broke up with Jamartay and found herself a new man in the mode of Russell Wilson. Yep, like Russell, dude loved her children like his own. Like Ciara, Montanae bragged about her newfound love on social media. They even had a baby together. Five years later, Jamartay sent Montanae a million text messages imploring her to take him back. Then he blew up her phone, leaving voice message after voice message. Must’ve been some good pussy to harass a chick after being sundered 5 years. On the day of the murder, Montanae called 911 and told the operator Jamartay was outside threatening to shoot up her house. Moments later, the simp kicked in the back door and opened fire — striking Montanae multiple times.
Her BFF heard the shots and fired back at Jamartay, but he was able to escape.
“Mr. Brown was able to force the door open and began to shoot Ms. Davis several times with a firearm,” the affidavit states.
Montanae was transported to Miami Valley Hospital where she died from her injuries. Jamartay was arrested and charged with four counts of aggravated murder, two counts of murder, one count of aggravated robbery, one count of aggravated burglary, one count of felonious assault, one count of tampering with evidence, and a partridge in a pear tree. He’s facing a lifetime behind bars.
Social media reaction was vicious.
One commenter wrote, “Uhhh… he was no Russell Wilson and that ex was a psychopath from hell!!!”
Another chimed in with, “I wish people would stop posting their relationship status on social media. Just keep your new love to yourself, especially when you move on from an insane person. She knew that man was krazy.”
A third person added, “She had the right to post whatever she wanted on social media. They had moved on from each other! He hated to see her happy because she was miserable with him, sick ass.”
Montanae was a nurse with a promising future.
Jamartay is a murderous bum with no goals or ambition.

I’m sorry that this happened. And I hate to be that guy, but when you date a thug, what do you think’s going to happen when you break up with him? These women really need to to wake up. At some point she realized her last man was no good. The new man seemed like he was good for her and they where happy. The old BF couldn’t take it…. And the cops? Well they cleary didn’t take this seriously…until it was too late.

This made my stomach churn. Instead of getting his life together he took hers. That’s why it’s always risky to display happiness and success on social media. These bitter individuals stay stalking and being bitter. He had five years to move on and he chose to take her life. What demon.

I had a judge (woman) give me a life time restraining order on my kid father who was abusive. He put a gun to my head and that was it. He would chase me everywhere. Eventually we went to court so that he could get visitation rights. There was a magistrate residing over the visitation case. The magistrate granted him rights to visit my home to pick up our son. Needless to say I went and bought a gun. I told his mother and the magistrate that if he comes to my home he will leave in a body bag.
I almost got the magistrate fired.
I couldn’t believe he did this. My cousin worked in the office as the magistrate. Come to find out, she was told that he was an abuser to his wife and daughter. These abusers look out for each other even in the court system. I finally got away … it was so hard. He was harassing my new man as well.
Now my son is 16 and wants nothing to do with him. He witnessed the abuse.
I understand exactly what she was going through and the trauma brings tears to my eyes.
I am also a nurse. I could only reach my goals when I got away.
So sorry she wasn’t able too get rid of him. These monsters are relentless. RIH dear.

How in the hell the friend tried to shoot back after he shot his ex? The moment he broke and entered gave her license to kill him where he stood. Instead she’s making 9-11 calls when she should’ve been putting him down first. I swear too many people lack common sense.
