SHREVEPORT — The adventures of Pookie & Ray Ray continue. Richard Williams was thrown in the slammer after he murdered his estranged wife, 40-year-old Corinthian Shepard, because she was about to divorce his black ass. The uxoricide transpired around 7:05 a.m. on July 5, 2025 at their residence in Shreveport, Louisiana. According to reports, Corinthian told Richard she was sick and tired of him cheating so she’s ending the marriage. Amid trepidation of becoming homeless, Richard (a freeloading bum) pulled out a gun and opened fire — striking Corinthian in the torso. Then he shot himself in the head. Both were transported to the hospital in critical condition. Corinthian died. But, somehow, Richard survived. He was arrested and charged with second-degree homicide. He’ll spend the rest of his miserable existence in the penitentiary.
Corinthian leaves behind four sons: ages 19, 18, 17 and 12. But, only one of ’em belongs to Richard. As customary, there’s no life insurance. Instead, Corinthian’s relatives set up a GoFundMe page to help with funeral and relocation expenses. “Corinthian was a devoted mother, sister, friend, and light in the lives of many. Now, her sons are left to navigate life without her…” the family wrote.
The youngest, only 12 years old, has essentially lost both parents in this horrific act. Due to the nature of this tragedy, her sons no longer want to live in the home where their mother was taken from them, the very place they once called their safe haven. This is completely understandable and we, as a family, are doing everything we can to support their need for relocation and stability.”
Social media reaction was wild.
One commenter wrote, “She took care of him. They don’t like when the money 💰 leave.”
Another chimed in with, “This is definitely first-degree murder because he planned it and it was not an accident.”
A third person added, “NEVER EVER let a man know you are leaving him. Make moves in silence while he’s gone.”
Richard and Corinthian appeared to be the perfect couple on social media.
But, behind closed doors, it was pure hell 🔥🔥🔥.
