COPPERAS COVE — The adventures of Pookie & Ray Ray continue. Aspiring rapper Alonzo Hunter, 27, was thrown in the slammer after he deleted his baby mama, 31-year-old Shasmine Clack, because she dumped his ass. The femicide transpired around 11:45 a.m. on February 2, 2025 in Copperas Cove, Texas. Alonzo, who was fresh out of prison, was on parole at the time. According to reports, Shasmine — a twerking mother of five — told Alonzo she was sick and tired of his bullsh*t so she ended the relationship. Then, she went on Facebook and quoted some of GloRilla’s lyrics. “IT FEELS GOOD 2 BE F*CK NIGGA FREE,” Shasmine wrote. “NO MORE LIES, CHEATING, MANIPULATION, GAS LIGHTING.” After descrying the message, Alonzo confronted Shasmine and accused her of cheating with Memphis rapper Finesse2tymes. As the argument intensified, Alonzo pulled out a gun and opened fire — striking Shasmine multiple times in front of the kids — with the youngest child being his.
“I was trying to call her and she wasn’t answering,” Shasmine’s sister, Shantell Clack, told reporters. “I was trying to call her son, but he wasn’t answering. He finally answered and said she was shot.” Police were dispatched to the scene. When they arrived, they found Shasmine sprawled out on the living room floor — suffering from gunshot wounds. CPR was administered, but it was to no avail.
Shasmine was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
“The kids – that’s what mattered,” Shantell bemoaned.
“She loved her kids. It was all about her kids. It’s just a lot starting all over without their mom.”
The next day, police busted Alonzo at a nearby hotel and charged him with Shasmine’s murder.
“She was a very kind and giving person,” Shantell recalled.
“She helped a lot of people. She would literally give the shirt off her back.”
What’s sad is Shasmine was a tarot card reader who helped clients elude death.
But she couldn’t visualize her own demise.

She definitely looked foolish and childish on that live, and it wasn’t cute at all as a mother or woman. She didn’t deserve to be inalived, but she definitely was taunting him, and she knew he would be watching her video. Both of them should have focused on positive things and moved on. And she already had 4 kids, which he should have thought about as well.
